PTI is now IT&E, unveils new corporate logo
PTI unveiled its new look yesterday, changing the telecom’s company name to IT&E and marking the event with a slew of events from early morning to late evening.
The re-branding effort started with a roadside waving in front of the company’s Chalan Laulau office starting at 7:30am.
A number of IT&E staff took part in the gig and were greeted with enthusiastic honks and greetings from passing motorists.
Just before lunch, IT&E staff served hotdogs to the company’s loyal customers and well-wishers and if that wasn’t enough, IT&E brought out a giant cake for all to enjoy by 4pm.
IT&E staff also held another roadside waving from 4pm to 5pm, this time in front of the company’s Wireless Express Center in Garapan
Customers then had a treat when IT&E’s already famous Island Cruizer held a special sale in front of IT&E’s Chalan Laulau office.
“The day has been so wonderful. After the waving, we gave out over 600 hotdogs and drinks as a thank you to our customers so it has been incredibly successful. While the barbecue was out, we made some extras for our employees too, and we enjoyed celebrating the day together as a team,” said IT&E marketing manager Kathryn Barry.
Barry also thanked all of the company’s employees for taking part in the full day of activities.
“It was nice to see everyone’s efforts turn into such a wonderful day. Every IT&E employee has been a part of this brand change and today is the day to celebrate all of their hard work,” she said.
Aside from adopting a new IT&E logo, the company also unveiled a new tagline for the company—“Life in Motion.”
With over 75,000 total subscribers on Saipan, Tinian, Rota and Guam, the PTI Group of Companies of which IT&E is a part, is the largest telecommunications company in the Marianas.
