The Department of Community & Cultural Affairs, Chamorro/Carolinian Language Policy Commission members will conduct its regular meeting on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009 at 9am, at the Office of Aging conference room. [B]Kagman community meeting set[/B]The Kagman Komunidat Association is inviting the general public to meet at the Kagman Community Center on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009, at 6:30pm. Issues to be discussed include the Kagman sidewalk construction, Puengin Inetnon (Kagman Friday Night Market), future and current CIP projects in Kagman (CIP coordinator Vicky Villagomez will be present), and other current community issues. Reps. Rosemond Santos and Ed Salas will also be present to discuss issues. (PR)
This is to inform parents and guardians of Tinian High School students that there will be a PTA meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 14, at 3:30pm at the Tinian Youth Center. [B]Auditions for Valentine’s Day musical[/B]The Friends of the Arts will hold auditions on Sunday, Jan. 11, for their Valentine Day production Let’s Fall in Love. We need people who can sing duets, solos and are able to belt out a song. The auditions will be held at Marianas High School, Room 101D, from 4pm until 6pm. Please be prepared to audition with your own song or one of the audition songs. This is a wonderful opportunity to display your musical talents. Come join the fun! (PR)

[B]Hopwood calendar of events[/B]The Hopwood Junior High School’s Mid-Progress reports were issued to all students on Dec. 22, 2008. Parents are urged to review the reports. The end of the second quarter will be on Jan. 30. The following week will be report card distribution (TBA). (PR)
