POLO to offer plan reading course

The Philippine Consulate General’s Labor Office, in cooperation with MAFEA, thru its president, Bong de Guzman, announced the opening of the registration for the plan reading course, which will be conducted at the Filipino Workers Resource Center, ground floor of the Marianas Business Plaza, Susupe, for eight Sundays from 1pm to 4pm, beginning Feb. 1 to March 22, 2009.

This training course is open to workers in the construction industry to help them gain knowledge in plan reading for the following areas: mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, architectural, plumbing, and safety and compliance.

Registration starts on Monday, Jan. 12, 2009 on a first-come, first-served basis. Only the first 50 applicants will be admitted to this course. pplicants are requested to bring their entry permit or copy of their CNMI labor renewal processing receipt.
