Three of the 20 members of the House of Representatives got a perfect attendance in 2008, showing up at all 40 sessions this year.

House Speaker Arnold I. Palacios and Reps. Christina Marie E. Sablan and Edward T. Salas all obtained a 100-percent attendance.

Reps. Ray N. Yumul and Rosemond B. Santos had the most number of absences after attending only 29 and 31 sessions respectively.

Yumul got a 73 percent attendance, but all his 11 absences were excused as he was serving the U.S. military during that period. Santos got a 78 percent attendance rate, but nine of her absences were excused.

Joining the top lawmakers with an excellent 98 percent attendance record (missing only one session) were Reps. Joseph James N. Camacho, Joseph P. Deleon Guerrero, Raymond D. Palacios, and Stanley T. McGinnis Torres. Their failure to attend the single session was excused.

The House lawmakers who got 95 percent attendance record for missing two sessions were Reps. Diego T. Benavente, Francisco S. Dela Cruz, and Ramon A. Tebuteb.

Rep. Victor B. Hocog got a 93 percent attendance; Reps. David M. Apatang, Oscar M. Babauta, and Heinz S. Hofschneider all got 90 percent; Reps. Edwin P. Aldan and Justo S. Quitugua had 88 percent; Reps. Joseph C. Reyes and Ralph Anthony DLG. Torres had 85 percent.

The record of attendance showed that all absences were listed as excused.
