I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Stellar Marianas and its officers and volunteers for the wonderful opportunity competing in the 2008 Miss Marianas pageant provided. Neda Camacho, Jennifer White-Aguon, Laila Younis-Boyer, and Jojo Alepuyo sacrificed an immeasurable amount of their valuable time to guide and coach us. I had an unforgettable experience and will cherish the memories I made, and more importantly, the friendships I forged in meeting Bobbie Jean, Alexandra, Leoveta and Soreen.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the various sponsors and the judges. Your support and participation in the 2008 Miss CNMI Marianas, combined with the generous support of Stellar Marianas provided for an auspicious evening.
I owe my deepest gratitude to Venus from Serenity Salon for her generous support, my friends and family that have supported me throughout the planning stage and showed up for the event to cheer me on, and my family abroad that could not be here with me, but were extending prayers for a successful event. I would like to especially thank my Auntie Jenny Mafnas for her mentoring, untiring support, endless generosity, keen eye for style, and her patience in coaching me in the areas of poise and grace. Auntie Jenny, I would not have been able to accomplish the very act of competing in a beauty pageant without your help. You made this whole experience enjoyable, thank you so much!
In closing, I would like to congratulate my dear friend Soreen. You did an awesome job, and I am confident that you will continue to represent the CNMI exceptionally throughout your reign as the 2008 Miss CNMI Marianas. I wish you God speed.
