DPS seeks designated drivers for holidays

The Department of Public Safety will be kicking of the 2008 3D (Drunk and Drugged Driving) prevention program today, Nov. 26, 2008, to inform he public that DPS will be out in full force looking for and cracking down on impaired drivers this holiday season.

DPS is asking for volunteers who are interested in being designated drivers to show up with a copy of their driver’s license today, Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2008 at DPS Central at 6pm and meet with Police Officer John Cabrera. There will also be a proclamation signing at DPS Central today at 11am. [B][I](DPS)
