The Tournament of Champions recently donated $13,000 to landscape three medians on the island of Saipan as well as to do the monthly landscape maintenance on the Port to Path Walkway.

The medians are in Chalan Piao (between Hopwood Jr. High School and Mobile Service Station), Susupe Median (fronting Saipan World Resort & Joeten Shopping Center), and the Microl Median in San Jose.

“We host TOC every year for many reasons but our primary goal is to raise money for the Saipan Beautification Fund,” says TOC chair Ben Babauta. “It is our distinct pleasure to donate $13,000 to support these worthwhile efforts to keep Saipan beautiful.”

“I would like to also take this opportunity to thank each of the TOC sponsors and the players that allow us to raise money each year for to further enhance the beauty of our island,” adds Babauta.

This year’s TOC was the 13th year of the tournament on Saipan. Since its inception, TOC has given over $500,000 to the beautification fund. (PR)
