Island Medical Center recently moved its clinic to Chalan Kanoa.

The clinic was previously located in Susupe. A sign on the building directs customers to the new location in Chalan Kanoa, across Mount Carmel Church.

An employee at the new clinic yesterday said he could not comment on the move until next week because there were things he still had to sort out. He said IMC president Tony Glad could also not comment.

The Chalan Kanoa location is operating and accepting clients.

In March, the Department of Public Health closed down Island Medical due to alleged non-compliance with rules and regulations.

IMC resumed operations at its Susupe location in August.

Last week, DPH secretary Joseph Kevin Villagomez said he would make sure patients and laboratories that were owed money for services will be repaid.

“I will personally make sure that it’s done,” he added.
