Gas prices is whatsup

Why is gas still very expensive? The maximum price of gas per gallon was $5.05 when the price per barrel was around $140 earlier this year. Now that the price per barrel is around $64, gas is still around $4 per gallon. This just sounds too fishy. If you do the math, it makes more sense if gas was selling at $2.50 per gallon right now. Since the price per barrel is currently half of the peak price, the price per gallon should also be half of the peak price of $5.05. $5.05/2= $2.52 per gallon. The Marianas is long overdue for our fair share of price reduction. We need this reduction so that we can spend our money on commodities and give a small boost to our economy instead of working for nothing but gas. Pat hafa mon?
