Copper wire thefts

Crime Stoppers is seeking the community’s assistance for information on any of the person(s) responsible for the following recent copper wire thefts:

On Monday, Oct. 27, 2008, DPS received a call at 12:40pm regarding a copper wire theft at two residential houses located behind Kagman High School. According to preliminary investigation, an unknown person(s) stole about 250 feet of secondary lines from two utility poles and about 185 feet of drop line wires. On the same date, DPS received a call at 2:20pm of a copper wire theft at the Retsa commercial building in As Perdido. Police learned that electrical wires were stolen from two panel boxes located on the south side of the building. Police learned that a storage room was also broken into. These cases are pending investigation.
