[B]Kagman Haunted House today[/B]

The Kagman Komunidat Association is inviting the public to the Kagman Haunted House scheduled for today, Oct. 31, at the Kagman Community Center. Doors open at 7pm. [B][I](PR)[/I][/B] [B] NMC Haunted House today[/B]

The Associated Students of the Northern Marianas College will be sponsoring a Haunted House today, Oct. 31, 2008. Community members are invited to the event, which will be held from 7:30pm to 11:30pm at NMC’s Building V (Studio Warehouse). Admission price for those 10 years old and younger is 50 cents, and anyone older than 10 years old is $1. Free candy will be distributed at the event! The Mafea will have a general membership meeting to discuss the group’s Christmas party activity. The meeting will be held Nov. 1, 2008 at 5pm at association president Bong de Guzman’s residence at Aglipay Apartment, Ruler Street, Chinatown. The meeting is open to all Mafea officers, members and engineers who want to join the organization. [B] Marriage Encounter weekend set[/B]

The next Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekend will be held on Nov. 14-16, 2008 at the Saipan Grand Hotel. To join, contact John and Vicky Mafnas at 285-8454, e-mail vbmafnas@yahoo.com. All Encountered Couples and Priests are invited to share their gifts, talents and time in the planning and hosting of this Weekend. The next Planning meeting will be held Thursday, Oct. 30, at 7pm at the residence of Charles and Cathy Cepeda in Fina Sisu. Bring a potluck dish. [B][I](PR)[/I][/B] [B]DEQ cleanup at Tank Beach[/B]

The Division of Environmental Quality cleanup brigade will be picking up trash at Tank Beach in Kagman on Saturday, Nov. 1, at 8am. Volunteers will clean until 10am and break for drinks and then continue, if needed. This month, outstanding brigade volunteers who participated in at least 10 monthly cleanups will receive a brigade cap and those who participated in at least three cleanups will receive a green brigade t-shirt. Auditions will be held for the upcoming play, It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas, the Broadway version of the movie Miracle on 34th.
