List of polling places for Nov. polls released
The Commission on Election has identified 18 polling precincts for the upcoming Nov. 4 election, where nearly 13,000 eligible voters would cast their votes for first ever CNMI delegate to Congress.
As of Sept. 22, 2008, there are already 12,947 registered voters for the 14 villages in the Commonwealth.
For Saipan voters, the polling places for the November elections are the San Antonio Elementary School, San Vicente Elementary School, Koblerville Elementary School, Municipal Council office, Oleai Elementary School, Garapan Elementary School, Tanapag Youth Center, San Roque Elementary cafeteria, Northern Islands, Kagman Community Center, and the Legislature Building on Capital Hill.
For Tinian residents, voters are urged to cast their votes at the Tinian Youth Center; Rota voters can go to the Northern Marianas College campus.
Based on the CNMI Voter Registration Statistics, San Antonio has 679 registered voters; San Vicente has 1,960; Koblerville has 890, District 1 has a total of 3,529 eligible voters.
District 2, which is composed of Chalan Kanoa and Susupe villages, has 1,008 voters, while District 3, which is composed of Oleia and Garapan, has a total of 2,700 voters, broken down as 710 and 1,990 respectively.
District 4 has a total of 1,412 registered voters broken down as 547 voters for Tanapag, 448 for San Roque, 348 for the Capital Hill area, and 69 for the Northern Islands.
Kagman, which comprises District 5, has a total of 1,797 eligible voters. Tinian has 1,136 voters, while Rota has 1,365 eligible voters.
