The Department of Public Safety, NMI Crime Stoppers and Kagman Community Association would like to invite the residents of Kagman to a meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008, at 6:30pm at the Kagman Community Center.
The NMI Crime Stoppers will be in attendance to inform community members about the Crime Stoppers program and how residents can help solve crimes in the CNMI. The Fire Division’s Fire Prevention Section will also be present at the meeting to advise families and individuals on how they can protect themselves and their homes from home fires and how they can prepare a fire escape plan to further ensure their safety.
Attendees will be receiving free Crime Stoppers memorabilia.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the CNMI, Post 3457 will lead the candlelight vigil along Airport Road for the arrival Thursday morning of the body of Staff Sgt. Julian Manglona.
His body will arrive at 1:20am and the Veterans of Foreign Wars will start the lineup at 12:15am. “We are asking the entire community to show up with their candles and support this event,” the group said in a statement. [B][I](PR)[/I][/B] [B] GTC-PTA meeting tomorrow[/B]
The Gregorio T. Camacho Elementary School’s PTA postponed its meeting last Wednesday due to inclement weather. The PTA meeting will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008, at 6pm in the school cafeteria. [B][I](PR)[/I][/B] [B] MHS Class of ’78 reunion[/B]
The MHS Class of 1978 is having its 30th year Class Reunion at the Susupe Beach Park (potluck-style) on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2008, from 11am to 4pm. Classmates are welcome to bring their families. The Good Doctor, the latest production of the Friends of the Arts, will be performed at the American Memorial Park Auditorium on Friday, Oct. 24, Saturday, Oct. 25 at 7pm, with a matinee performance on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008 at 3pm.
