The Philippine Consulate General will be conducting its annual consular mission to Rota on Oct. 11-12, 2008.

The consular service will be held at the Eskuelan San Francisco de Borja in Songsong Village, from 8:30am through 5pm with a one-hour lunch break.

The consular team will accept applications for the new machine readable passports and dual citizenship, perform notarial services, accept registrations of birth and marriages and fingerprinting services for NBI clearance applications. It will also release the MRPs of those who applied earlier.

The consular team, which includes representatives of the Philippine Overseas Labor Office and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration office on Saipan, will also accept payments for the overseas employment certificates and OWWA membership renewals.

The consular team will also conduct an information drive about the other services performed by the Consulate and its attached agencies, POLO and OWWA.

The Philippine Consulate urges Filipinos residing and working on Rota to take advantage of this opportunity to avail themselves of the field consular service. (PR)
