Superior Court Associate Judge David A. Wiseman has ordered a woman to spend 30 days in prison for filing fraudulent papers at the Department of Labor and the Division of Immigration.

Wiseman sentenced Anita Antolin Camacho to one year in prison, all suspended except for 30 days, with no parole.

He placed the 51-year-old Camacho on one year probation and ordered her to pay a $100 fine and $25 court assessment fee plus probation fee.

The defendant was charged with attempted unlawful employment of an alien, inducement by fraudulent misrepresentation, and conspiracy to commit inducement by fraudulent misrepresentation, and two counts of document fraud.

Camacho signed a plea agreement and pleaded guilty to one count of document fraud.

According to the plea agreement, on Jan. 17, 2008, Camacho fabricated a false employment contract for Dennis Fabian that was submitted to Labor to circumvent local labor and immigration laws.

Camacho’s guilty plea may subject her to deportation proceedings. She was ordered to report to the Department of Corrections this Monday to serve her sentence.
