Meeting for Chinese workers with unpaid Labor awards

The United Workers Movement, NMI is organizing another meeting related to the planned class action lawsuit on unpaid administrative orders. This time, the meeting, which is set on Sept. 28, Sunday, 3pm at the Amphitheater of the American Memorial Park in Garapan, will be exclusive to Chinese workers.

All those who will join the lawsuit are requested to bring a copy of their Administrative Order, which should have been issued within the last six years, and a filing fee of $12. Lawyer Robert Myers Jr. will preside the meeting. A Chinese translator was also invited to assist.

United Workers Movement, NMI and Myers are still accepting signed agreements until Sept. 30, 2008. Blank agreement forms are available at the front desk of Summer Holiday Hotel in Garapan or interested parties may sign during the meeting on Sept. 27. Meeting will start on time.
