APAFS’ investment conference close to full, delegates urged to book ASAP
Members of the fiduciary and investment community who have not yet signed up for the 8th Annual Pacific Region Investment Conference are being urged to do so as soon as possible, while slots are still available.
Conference host Asia Pacific Association for Fiduciary Studies will be holding the event on Oct. 9-10, 2008 at the Grand Ballroom of the Renaissance Makati City Hotel in Manila, “so expect the venue to be fully booked by this time although accommodations may still be availed in nearby hotels.”
Students, entrepreneurs, and anyone with a keen interest on current regional fiduciary trends are also welcome to attend.
The two-day event boasts of a roster of noted lecturers and presentors, including famous contrarian investor and Gloom Bloom and Doom Report editor/publisher Dr. Marc Faber as keynote speaker, together with Philippine Sen. Edgardo Angara, sponsor of the recently-passed PERA Law, as featured speaker.
With the kind of high-caliber program that APAFS has prepared, attendance confirmation is nearing 300, with delegates flying in from around the globe and coming in from a number of U.S. destinations and across the Asia-Pacific region just to get the chance to participate in the event.
“Listen to financial experts and professionals from the U.S. and around the Pacific Rim, learn about the latest trends and practices in fiduciary management, network with hundreds of individuals and organizations from the fiduciary industry, and get complimentary membership from the Asia Pacific Association for Fiduciary Studies,” APAFS said in a statement. (APAFS)
