Final meeting for SaipanCell/PCA softball tilt tomorrow

Representatives of participating teams for this weekend’s Saipan Cell/Palau Community Association softball tournament are asked to attend a meeting tomorrow at the Northern Marianas Gym starting at 5pm.
PCA President Rufino Aguon said copies of the schedule of games will be distributed at the meeting. He added that the $400 registration fee and copies of team rosters are due tomorrow.
The annual tournament is a fundraising activity of PCA.
Defending champion Yes for Casino is expected to participate again in the four-day event to be held in two weekends (Sept. 20-21 and Sept. 27-28) at the Dandan Elementary School Ballfeld.
A cash prize of $1,000 and a specially-crafted will be up for grabs this year .
The tournament will have a double-elimination format and each team is allowed to have a maximum of 15 players. All players and/or members must sign waiver forms. Failure to sign the forms will make a player ineligible to play.
ISF Rules will be used, but homeruns are not allowed. A home run will be considered an out.
