SHRM hosts annual confab Thursday
The annual conference of the Society for Human Resource Management, CNMI Chapter is this week!
This “Professional Development Series” will help enhance participants’ human resource knowledge and provide essential training on human resource matters.
Training topics will include: Fundamentals of Human Resources, Effective Interviews, Strategic Leadership, S.W.O.T. and Conflict Resolutions.
The keynote speakers, lawyers Maya Kara and Bruce Mailman, will be provide insights on Federalization of Immigration in the CNMI: Issues and Challenges that Face Employers and Employees.

You don’t want to miss this conference,” said CNMI Chapter president Frannie T. Salas in a statement.
The Annual Conference will be held at the SandCastle of the Hyatt Regency Saipan this Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008, from 8am to 4pm. Doors open at 8:15am for registration. Cost for members is $35 and $45 for non-SHRM members (government purchase orders accepted). Cost includes lunch, morning and afternoon refreshments and conference materials.
