AGO prosecutes 26 people

The Attorney General’s Office last week filed separate cases against 26 people for allegedly committing various offenses.

Chief Prosecutor Kevin Lynch filed the cases in the Superior Court. The defendants were summoned to appear and answer the charges in court.

Charged were Marcelo T. Lisua, Kfis Kris Pino, William B. Salas, Daisuke Yanai, Erinie N. Alden, Gregory C. Sablan, Chunzhen Chen, Guiliang Gao, Jose Blas Manglona Jr., Abul Abul, Edward J. Castro, Robert Jake Palacios, Maurila Salom, Michael Jordan Cabrera, and Francisco DLG. Camacho.

Also charged were Anthony Ada Pangelinan, Allan Zackrias, Richard Duenas, Patrick Sones, Tatiana Abkadyrova, Rong Jian Xiao, Hyoung Keun Oh, Antonio B. Evangelista, Ramon A. Bermudes, Nely Gabriel Dancel, and Danilo D. Ibrao.

Lisua was charged with assault and battery and criminal mischief for hitting a household member in the head and damaging the windshield of the victim’s car on July 15, 2007.

Pino was charged with two counts of assault and battery for beating up a household member on Feb. 13, 2007.

Salas was charged with assault and battery for pushing and throwing against the wall his former wife on May 16, 2007.

Yanai was charged with assault and battery for repeatedly punching his wife on March 26, 2007.

Alden was charged with two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon and one count of assault and battery for hitting a family member with a picnic table and a piece of wood on July 22, 2007.

Sablan was charged with assault and battery, two counts of interfering with a domestic violence report, and one count of disturbing the peace.

Sablan allegedly kicked his wife in the back and pulled the phone line from the phone when the victim was attempting to call 911 on April 24, 2007. He also allegedly grabbed her cellphone and locked it in a room.

Chen was charged with assault and battery for holding a woman on the ground and punching her forehead on May 4, 2007.

Gao was charged with three counts of assault and battery and one count of disturbing the peace. He allegedly hit a woman on the back with a lighted cigarette, kicked her on the leg and punched her repeatedly in the head on July 11 and 17, 2007.

Manglona was charged with assault and battery, and criminal mischief. He allegedly beat up his spouse and tore her pants on May 8, 2007 on Tinian.

Abul was charged with assault and battery for beating up a household member on Tinian on Sept. 5, 2007.

Castro and Palacios were charged with assault and battery for repeatedly punching and kicking a man on April 13, 2008.

Salom was charged with assault and battery for hitting her mother on the arm with an umbrella several times on April 20, 2007.

Cabrera was charged with burglary for breaking into a residence on Jan. 25, 2007.

Camacho was charged with assault and battery for threatening a household member with a knife and pushed her to the bed on June 29, 2007.

Pangelinan was charged with assault and battery for punching a woman several times in the presence of a child on May 26, 2007.

Zackrias was charged with assault and battery for throwing an ashtray at a family member and hit her with it on May 8, 2007.

Duenas was charged with assault and battery, and minor consuming alcohol. He allegedly hit a man and kicked him on July 25, 2008.

Sones was charged with theft for stealing a mountain bicycle worth $120 belonging to a man on March 4, 2008.

Abkadyrova was charged with theft of service and resisting arrest. She allegedly refused to pay $15 worth of drinks from a bar and kicked a policewoman on June 23, 2008.

Xiao was charged with criminal mischief for damaging a man’s TV set and VCD player on July 2, 2008.

Oh was charged with assault and battery for pushing his wife on Dec. 8, 2007.

Evangelista was charged with assault and battery for punching and kicking a man in the face on Tinian on Sept. 15, 2007.

Bermudes was charged with two counts of assault and battery, and one count of criminal mischief. He allegedly punched a woman on the forehead and threw a rock at her back on Aug. 9, 2008. He allegedly caused scratches and dents to the victim’s car.

Dancel was charged with assault and battery for hitting a man in the back of his head with a rock on June 24, 2007 on Tinian.

Ibrao was charged with two counts of assault and battery for slapping a household member and grabbed her arm on July 26, 2007.
