We have learned there are only three members of the House of Representatives worth voting for and retaining in public office after the House passed the resolution on Wednesday against the proposed Marianas Trench Marine Monument. The Friends of the Marianas Trench Marine Monument would like to thank these representatives. They are to be commended for their intelligence, willingness to learn about the issues, integrity, bravery, bearers, and guardians of the public trust. They nobly serve in public office with the duty to represent the people who elected them and not cater to special interests. They are in alphabetical order: Heinz Hofschneider, Tina Sablan, and Ed Salas. They all get an A+ for trying to improve the economy, increase tourism, foster research, provide more educational opportunities, bring jobs, and guaranteed federal dollars to the CNMI.

What are the other 15 so-called representatives doing to improve the lives of the people of the CNMI? One can only guess who the rest represent (Wespac); it is certainly not the people.

I know who I am voting for come Election Day. I am voting for Tina, Heinz, and Ed. I can also vote for Heinz, Tina, and Ed. Finally, I am going to vote for Ed, Tina, and Heinz. Thank you for taking an interest in the future well-being of the CNMI!
