Theft of diesel fuel

Crime Stoppers is asking the community for information on the individual(s) involved in the theft of 60 gallons of diesel from two tractors at the Saipan Mayor’s Office Field Operations Shop located in Lower Base. Based on preliminary investigation, the police were notified about the incident on Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, at 8:59am. According to a witness, 60 gallons of diesel from two tractors (Govt. #17-49 and Govt. #36-02) were stolen. Police also learned that the western chain link fence near the compound was cut about three feet in length. The area was last secured on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, at 4:30pm.
