GTA TeleGuam launches digital TV

[B]TAMUNING, Guam[/B]—GTA TeleGuam announced yesterday the launch of Guam Digital Television, the newest service in GTA TeleGuam’s lineup of communications offerings.

Andrew Gayle, executive vice president of Wireless and Video at GTA TeleGuam said, “Two and half years ago, GTA promised it would bring TV choice to Guam. I am very pleased to be able to tell you that we are now fulfilling the promise we made to the island. Today, GTA is announcing the launch of Guam Digital Television, or what we call GUdTV. This is a historic time for Guam. Customers stateside have long had choices for TV. Now customers on Guam will have a competitive choice for TV service for the first time ever.”

Gayle added, “GUdTV has more channels, more high definition TV, and is 100 percent digital. We have a great $99 package deal that offers faster Internet speeds, our typhoon proven phone service and our exciting new Guam Digital Television service, all backed by the ‘GTA Always There’ guarantee.”

GTA plans to roll out GUdTV neighborhood by neighborhood over the next year, currently taking orders for its first two service areas—Dededo and Tumon.

We want to provide a great TV product and we expect demand for GUdTV service to be high. We promise that we will get to your area as soon as possible.
