Anyone wants to reduce their carbon footprint?

Join the second edition of the “Take the Right Route” Day on Oct. 10.

You can choose how to participate: run, walk, bike or carpool to work or school.

You can also volunteer to become a coordinator for your group or organization.

The Energy Division of the Department of Public Works will be spearheading this one-day fun and activity as part of celebrations for Energy Awareness Month next month.

The final day of submission of the list of participants is on Oct. 6.

In a memorandum to all department and activity heads, Energy Division director Thelma B. Inos noted that all those who become a coordinator would receive an “appreciation package.”

All participants would get a pair of “Walk It, Don’t Drive It” slippers or a water bottle with lanyard or key chain.

Interested coordinators may contact Lauren Sanchez or Noberto Mendiola at 664-4480/1 for more information.
