The Pacific Islands Club hosted the inaugural PIC Palooza Fundraising Event, a ’70s costume party, on Saturday, Aug. 30, to benefit the social services group Karidat.

The event, which began at 7:30pm, was held at the Charley’s Cabaret and included games, quizzes, raffle and dancing—all with a ’70s theme, replete with oversized Afro wigs, neon-colored dresses, thigh-high boots and platform shoes, oversized sunglasses, and the ubiquitous bell bottoms.

PIC’s Clubmates also got into the act, performing Play That Funky Music by Wild Cherry and Tina Turner’s Proud Mary.
