Tomorrow is RGA Sept. qualifier

The September Ace of the Month qualifier for the Refaluwasch Golf Association will be held tomorrow, Aug. 31, at the Kingfisher Golf Links in Talafofo.

Club tournament director Jess Wabol said the qualifier will have a tee-off time of 12pm so players must sign in an hour earlier, or at 11am. He said RGA has slots for 16 players for this weekend’s qualifier.

Wabol also reminded Ace of the Month winners that they need to have played in a minimum of six tournaments (including qualifiers) in order to qualify for the yearend RGA Club Championship.

He said only four monthly championships remain before RGA’s yearend Club Championship set on Dec. 6 at the Coral Ocean Point Golf Resort in Koblerville. The Club Championship assembles all 12 monthly champions, provided they qualify.
