A group of alien workers will hold a meeting to discuss federalization and other issues before launching a cleanup on pathways along Beach Road this Sunday, Aug. 31.

Dekada president Bonifacio Sagana said the the cleanup drive will be from the Kilili Beach all the way down to the 13 Fishermen’s Monument, where they will hold a barbecue picnic.

The cleanup is in coordination with the Division of Environmental Quality and Division of Parks and Wildlife.

Sagana said they want to help in making the pathway a safe place for joggers and walkers.

But before that, the group will have a short meeting to discuss issues regarding the ongoing federalization process for the CNMI, improved immigration status and its long-term implications.

The group has invited Rep. Tina Sablan and Stephen Woodruff as well as members of religious groups and other alien workers for these activities.
