2-day DUI checkpoints on Rota

The Department of Public Safety’s Traffic Section on Rota will be conducting two DUI/sobriety checkpoints on Aug. 23 and 27, 2008.

The first checkpoint on Saturday will be held along San Francisco Highway by the Sinapolo 3 Park on Rota. It will begin around 1:30am and end at 2:45am.

The second checkpoint on Aug. 27 will be conducted along San Francisco Highway by the Pinatang Park. It will start around 10pm and end at about 11:15pm.

Both checkpoints will be terminated if it rains.
