Two men attacked a store clerk with a machete at the Glory Market in Chalan Kanoa Saturday, according to the Department of Public Safety.

The 60-year-old female victim was sitting behind the cahier’s counter around 6:40pm Saturday when two masked men armed with machetes reportedly ran inside the store. The victim attempted to push the store’s alarm button, but one of the men allegedly struck her with a machete on her right arm, leaving a bruise.

The men were able to cut the line of the cash register and flee the store with the machine.
