Four-hour outage on Middle Road Friday

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. has scheduled a four-hour power outage on Friday, Aug. 22, affecting a large portion of Middle Road.

According to CUC executive director Antonio Muña, the purpose of the outage is to replace the defective air break system in Feeder 3 by the entrance of Upper Gualo Rai.

The outage, expected to last from 8am to 12pm, is required for the safety line crew, he said.

The following areas will be affected: Customers from Quartermaster Road to Msgr. Guerrero, Pale Arnold Road, Upper China Town, Falipe, Taro Sue, Upper Gualo Rai, and Lower Gualo Rai area.

The outage is on top of the regular load shedding schedule. [B][I](PR)
