An argument over womanizing reportedly led to a domestic violence at a residence in Gualo Rai Monday afternoon.

Leonard Duenas Camacho, 41, was arrested for assault and battery, and criminal mischief.

The victim suffered bruises on the right wrist, police said.

The Superior Court initially imposed a $1,500 cash bail for Camacho’s temporary liberty. He was set to appear for a bail hearing yesterday afternoon.

Detective Andrea Ozawa stated in her report that the victim and Camacho had been arguing that morning after she accused him of sleeping around.

Ozawa said Camacho left the house but returned after several hours. He then allegedly hit the victim with his jacket. At the time, she was mopping the floor. He also allegedly held her by the neck, pushed her to the floor, then put his foot on her belly. When she yelled for help, Camacho allegedly kicked her. He then started breaking items outside the house and left.

After a few minutes Camacho returned, prompting the victim to run to the bedroom where she locked the door. Police then arrived.

Responding police officers saw in the garage a damaged vehicle’s windshield. A pair of pliers was stuck in the windshield. Items and broken glasses were scattered on the floor. The victim, who was crying, was carrying a baby.
