Softball tourney fundraiser reset for next week

Instead of this weekend, the Sufa Softball Association’s Softball Tournament Fundraiser has been moved to July 18, 19, and 20. One of the coordinators, Joe Salas, said the tournament was postponed for a week because of a scheduling conflict with another organization that would be using one of the venues this weekend. Sufa Softball’s competition will both use the Miguel “Tan Ge” Field at the Oleai Sports Complex and the Capital Hill Field at the foot of Mt. Tapochao. Salas said, so far, seven teams have signed up with two others waiting in the wings. The seven confirmed teams are Kagman Mobil, Joe and Audy, Potu, Brother Hood, Belau team, Chelus, and Wetz. For more information about the Sufa Softball Association’s Softball Tournament Fundraiser, call Salas at 483-3501, Jovie Flores at 287-5515, or Delbert Sablan at 286-3146. (PR)
