Please release the stimulus checks

I’m writing to beg Finance Secretary Eloy Inos to release the remaining stimulus checks. We need our money. I don’t anymore understand why the government is taking a long time to release all those pending checks. I know of one case where the check has been ready since May but until few days ago, Treasury was refusing to release it. The taxpayer was given a copy of the check but was told to wait.

I belong to the group of people who are waiting anxiously as to when we can get either a deficiency notice or a check. I’ve been to the Revenue and Tax last month to verify if I need to correct or submit any document. I was told to just wait for the check because their system doesn’t show any deficiency. I bet there is still a good number of people who are in the same category, wondering what’s happening.

Here’s another reason to question. I filed my tax return in April and until now I have not received a notice or a check but my officemate who filed hers last June 17 got a deficiency notice two days ago. How do they decide who gets first? I checked the IRS website to see if they are using the last digit of SS number in the scheduling but it didn’t make any sense. At least, in my case or a few others I’ve checked.

Sec. Inos, thank you in advance for helping us get our money.
