NMC releases upcoming math placement test dates

If you want to take math courses this coming summer or fall at the Northern Marianas College, then now is the time to take your math placement test.
There is a $25 fee for the math placement test that must be paid in advance at the NMC’s Finance Office. The Finance Office is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm. Students will not be admitted to the testing room without a proof of payment such as a receipt for the placement test fee.
The Northern Marianas College will conduct the math placement tests on May 20 (10am-12pm), May 27 (10am-12pm), May 29 (5pm-7pm), Aug. 12 (10am-12pm and 5pm-7pm, Aug. 14 (10am-12pm and 5pm-7pm), Aug. 19 (10am-12pm), and Aug. 21 (5pm-7pm).
All tests will be held at NMC, Room D – 1.
You must bring a valid photo ID (driver’s license, passport or school ID) and pencils. You can bring a calculator, though it is optional.
NMC students are not allowed to take the placement test more than once. The only exception to this condition is for NMC students who have not taken a math class within one year of taking the math placement.
The placement test is administered on a first come first served basis; no reservations are needed. No admittance to the testing room will be allowed after the starting times listed prior.
