The Pacific Islands Club sports field will once again be bustling with activity when the 7th Annual 3-on-3 Soccer Tournament returns on Sunday, May 18.

The entrance fee is $10 per person with the registration starting at 8:30am and the actual games begin at 9:30am.

The tournament will follow a random draw, three-person format where players will be divided into advanced, intermediate, and beginner categories. Players will be placed on four-person teams where the number of games will be based on the number of competing squads that will be formed.

The $10 entrance fee entitles participants to a free waterpark pass for the day, while their family and friends will get a 50 percent discount for the use of PIC’s waterpark facility.

Players of all skill levels are welcome to join but must be 14 years old or older.

The event is sponsored in part by Pacific Trading Co. and Island Apparel.

Last year, Team Ireland didn’t lose a single game as the team made up of Chris Nelson, Bruce Berline, and Steve McKagan won the PIC-Gatorade 3-on-3 Soccer Tournament.

Team Ireland defeated Team Argentina’s Dale Roberts, Masa Otsuka, and Brad Ruszala in the finals.
