Thank you to Public Works

Over the past week, the Museum has been working on the removal of dead trees, scrap lumber, and other debris around the facility. If you’ve passed by, you’ve seen the very large amassed piles.

The museum had no equipment capable of removing the material, and the DPW was incredibly responsive. Having no front-end loader available on the morning they scheduled to assist, the DPW staff manually loaded this debris until the loader was available in the afternoon. You would have to have seen the amount and size of the debris to understand how significant this work was. We want to thank the Department of Public Works (DPW) for assisting us with the removal of the material.

Our sincerest thanks to DPW Secretary Diego B. Songsong, and to the entire DPW crew, Dennis Henry Davis, Tony Somorang, Ben Itibus, Albert Remeked, Jun Litulimar and Ray Camacho. We apologize if we’ve missed anyone.
