Ayuyu named area supervisor of McDonald’s Saipan
McDonald’s announced this week that Joe E. Ayuyu Jr. has been promoted to area supervisor for the two McDonald’s restaurants on Saipan. That means he will now be in charge of managing both restaurants.
Ayuyu, the son of Joe and Marcia Ayuyu Sr., graduated with a business degree from Miami University in Ohio in 2014, He then returned to Saipan and started working for McDonald’s, first as a manager trainee, then as general manager and now as area supervisor.
To prepare him for his new job assignment, Ayuyu attended many McDonald’s-sponsored management classes on Saipan, Guam, Hawaii and eventually graduated from Hamburger University in 2016 with honors.
Ayuyu’s background includes working at Bank of Saipan, currently serving as a member of the Zoning board since 2014 and also currently serving as chairman of the 2019 Liberation Parade Committee.
Ayuyu’s parents’ long-term goal is to eventually pass on the business, both on Saipan and Guam, to him. His next assignment within the company after a period of time on Saipan will be to manage all the Guam restaurants. (PR)
