Ayuyu of McDonald’s is one of mag’s Exec of the Year nominees

BARRIGADA, Guam—The president and owner of McDonald’s of Guam and Saipan, Jose C. “Joe” Ayuyu, has been selected as one of the nominees of Guam Business Magazine’s 2016 Guam Business Magazine Executive of the Year. He joins seven other nominees for the annual honor.
The Executive of the Year award program recognizes executives who have made outstanding contributions to the business communities of Micronesia and who have raised the bar in their fields.
The other nominees are Dr. Vincent T. Akimoto, vice president of American Medical Center; Susan M. Biolchino, president of Graphic Center Inc.; Charles E. Ewart, president of Mobil Oil Guam Inc., Mobil Oil Marianas Inc. and Mobil Oil Micronesia Inc.; Desmond Graham, president of Atkins Kroll Inc.; Stevyn J. Radonich, vice president and general manager of Smithbridge Guam Inc.; John W. Scragg, president of JWS Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Ltd.; and Jeffrey Voacolo, vice president of Micronesia Renewable Energy
The winner will be revealed at the Executive of the Year award gala on Jan. 21 at the Hyatt Regency Guam, together with the release of the January-February 2017 issue of the magazine, which will feature a portrait of the winner on the cover.
Proceeds from the gala, sponsored by Sorensen Media Group, Red Dragon Agency and Delta Air Lines, will benefit the American Red Cross-Guam.
