On Feb. 12, 2015, eight cadets from Kagman High School’s Ayuyu Battalion competed in the JROTC 5-Star General George C. Marshall Foundation Leadership Challenge and 5-Star General Douglas MacArthur Academic Challenge Bowl. This includes the entire 8th Brigade, which consists of 163 high schools from different locations including California, Hawaii, Alaska, Montana, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Japan, Korea, Guam, and the CNMI.

It was a tireless effort that the two teams had to endure, consisting of many hours of practice, research, and hard studying during school and after school hours and they were able to see the fruits of their labor and dedication to finish third. This brings great credit to Kagman High School cadets and the Northern Mariana Islands. (PR)
