Autism group to host Quiz Nites

Seven years later and with a champion called Busch Knights, Quiz Nite 7 looks to rock Saipan on April 14 at Fiesta Resort and Spa Saipan. Celebrate Autism Awareness Month this April by attending Quiz Nite on Saipan, Tinian, or Rota this year!

Do you have what it takes to win Autism Society’s Quiz Nite 7? All you have to do is come and play…if you dare! You will have a total of five rounds of 10 questions each, 25 questions will be autism or other disability related, while the other 25 are random facts like what is the distance to the moon in miles?

The smallest team size has been three people and the largest has been 14 folks; however, your team only gets one answer, so make sure you pick the right one.

Every team member pays their $30 entrance fee and can join any team. First, we eat, mingle and meet folks from all over island, and then the game starts at 7pm sharp!

Team Ikaika won third place last year and has been a staple at Quiz Nite. Second place winner Team Hokkaido also came close.

“We hope to see Team Hokkaido come back this year to win it all! The goal this year is to knock off team Busch Knights from the top position,” the organization said in a statement. In the end, when the dust settles, one team will reign supreme!

Will last year’s winners reclaim the first-place trophy? Or will a new team, hungry and eager, take the trophy?

For those on Tinian and Rota, Quiz Nite 2 Tinian will be held at the Antonio M. Borja Amphitheatre on April 28, and Quiz Nite 2 Rota will take place at the Rota Roundhouse in Songsong, also on April 28.

On Tinian last year, Team “Too Cool” made up of teachers took home the first-place trophy. They have bragging rights until April 28!

Last year’s Quiz Nite 1 Rota was on Channel 5, with Team “Freedom Fighters” taking the first-place trophy.
