Audie Maratita of Team Sufa is the current batting leader of the men’s division of the 2022 Budweiser Belau Amateur Softball Association League.  

As of Sept. 11, he has had 22 at bats, 17 hits, and a .773 batting average. He is followed by Man Amigos’ Mark Toves with 21 at bats, 16 hits, and a .762 batting average. Jeff Cruz from Tokahao comes in third with 27 at bats, 19 hits, and a .704 average.

Meanwhile, Man Amigos’ Eric Palacios leads in two categories. He is still the home run king with nine home runs and has the most runs batted in or RBIs with 26.

After Palacios in the home run category comes Maratita, Pete Sablan, and Jeff Cruz with seven each. Dominic Hideo, Jerome Delos Santos, Mike Techur, Paul Salalila, Jude Dickenson, and Ton Pangelinan have five each.

John Terlaje has the most runs scored with 24, Clint Quitugua and Joe Lizama with 18, Cartfield Sablan, Jeff Cruz, and Jaimi Reyes with 17, Lefty Shiro and Mike Tomokane with 16, and Eric Palacios, J.J Laniyo, and Paul Salalila with 15.

John Taitano has the most doubles with six, followed by Cartfield Sablan, Tim Wesley, and John Acosta with five. 12 players are tied with four doubles each.

The triple master is Lefty Shiro with five, Mike Tomokane with four, and John Taitano with three.

The pitching leaders are Kuich Damian of Momma Charo with a 1-2 win loss record, 13.1 innings pitched, 29 hits against him, and a 3.74 earned run average.

The strikeout king is Dominic Hideo with 19, followed by George David and Tom Camacho with 17 each.

In the women’s division, the batting leader so far is Glare “Clarissa” Mabel of Lady Eagles with 17 at bats, 11 hits, and a .647 batting average. She is followed by the Queens of the Diamond’s Erin Mendiola with 14 at bats, nine hits, and a .643 average, and Kiana “Baby K” Camacho with 19 at bats, 12 hits, and a .532 batting average.

Kiana Camacho is tied at 13 with Brittany Luzama and Emi Oiterong leads with the most runs scored, Kiana Aldan with 11, and Angela Muna, Alanna Sumang, and Becky Repeki with 10.

Kiana Camacho, Kayla Kaipat, Brittany Luzama, Catalina DLCruz, and Becky Repeki have the most doubles with three each, followed by Janice Celis, Glare Mabel, Rachel Salalila, Rayna Diguerrero, Sonia Isaac, Marina Kaipat, and Jennie Scalliem with two each.

Rosie Saralu, Keyona Tudela, and Edilyn Benjamin have two triples each and 16 players are tied with one.

Kiana Aldan has the most home runs with four, followed by Rosie Saralu, Heather Kladikm, Erlinda Naputi, Becky Repeki, Janice Celis, Rayna DiGuerrero, Anna Olupumar, Victoria Pangelinan, Sonia Isaac, and Marina Kaipat with one each.

Kiana Aldan, Rosie Saralu, and Marina Kaipat have 10 RBIs each, followed by Catalina Dela Cruz, Glare Mabel, and Becky Repeki with nine each, and Kayla Kaipat with eight.

The pitching queen is Queens of Diamonds’ Bert Camacho with a 5-1 win-loss record, 36 innings pitched, 56 runs against her, and a 2.14 ERA.
