The Saipan Little League Baseball Inc. board is reminding all managers to attend today’s final general membership meeting at 5:30pm at the pavilion behind the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.

The SLLBI board, headed by president Benjamin Jones Sr., wants to finalize details of the opening in January and discuss other league concerns. The league’s tentative opening is on Jan. 15.

Jones wants to have a full attendance from representatives of participating teams as he will also discuss the registration forms and entrance fees.

Jones said that he and the SLLBI board want the season to end early to give the all star teams enough time to train for the CNMI district and Asia-Pacific-Middle East regional tournaments. He reiterated that today’s meeting will be the last that’s why the SLLBI board is asking all managers to attend.

“If you’re not present, your team will be out of the program,” Jones said.

The SLLBI board has also set Dec. 6 as player registration day and they will assist managers and coaches in registering their players. They will receive the team rosters and other necessary documents from 9am to 12nn at the Ada Gym pavilion.

Annie Deleon Guerrero Flores (vice president), Piding Tenorio (secretary and player agent), Malcolm Omar (treasurer), Climaco Laniyo (safety officer), and AJ Murig (chief statistician) are the other SLLBI board members.

For more information, call Tenorio at 285-1024 or Murig a 989-0640.
