Atkins Kroll now BMW distributor

TAMUNING, Guam—Des Graham, president of Atkins Kroll Inc., announced last week that the automotive retailer has been appointed the BMW distributor for Guam and Micronesia effective Jan. 1, 2018.

“We are pleased that BMW chose Atkins Kroll to represent its brand of premium automobiles in the Guam and Micronesia market,” said Graham.

Atkins Kroll has over 100 years of experience in meeting the customers’ needs and BMW recognized the AK team’s excellent automotive skill sets in leading the market in sales and service on Guam and Saipan.

“It is our people at AK that will make the difference in making BMW succeed and we look forward to offering this prestigious brand with the same dedication and commitment to customer service as our current brands,” added Graham.

BMW is a Germany‐based company that produces automobiles and motorcycles. The company was founded in 1916 and has its headquarters in Munich, Bavaria.

Today, the BMW Group, with its 31 production and assembly facilities in 14 countries as well as a global sales network, is the world’s leading manufacturer of premium automobiles and motorcycles. BMW has been a brand partner with Atkins Kroll’s parent company, Inchcape PLC, for over 27 years operating retail centers in Europe and Australia.

“We are negotiating with the current importer for their inventory of new vehicles and parts. We intend to open temporary facilities for our sales showroom, customer service, maintenance, repair and parts shop for BMW vehicles while we plan a permanent home for the premium brand,” said Graham. “We appreciate the understanding of current BMW owners as we undergo a transitional phase to the Atkins Kroll premises and operations,” said Graham. “More information regarding maintenance, warranty service, and repair will be forthcoming as we proceed further in the transition.”
