ASNMC hopes to close out semester strong

On top of their recent Halloween photo booth success, Riya Nathrani, president of the Associated Students of the Northern Marianas College, is planning even more events to close out the semester.

“We are planning to do a Spirit Week for College Month and designate a certain theme for each day. For example, Monday will be Hi-5 Day, Tuesday is Face Paint Day, and Wednesday is Celebrity/Superhero Day,” she said.

She said ASNMC hopes this will allow students to get involved and have fun and get creative this month.

“As for December, we would like to have another photo booth because our Halloween one was quite successful and we find this to be a great way for students to capture their college experiences and keep these memories with them after they have graduated,” she said.

The booth gave students the option of getting printout or digital copies of their photos, she said.

Nathrani is this school year’s ASNMC’s president, along with newcomers Salvi Villanueva as vice president, Andrew Villanueva as secretary, and Roman Tudela as treasurer.

Adrian Pangelinan, Keisuke Yoshida, and Guadalupe Camacho are ASNMC’s senators.
