Art of War 14 offers 6 weight classes

Trench Tech’s The Art of War 14 Grappling Submission Challenge will feature six different weight classes and interested participants can enter more than one division

The competition, which is open to both Gi (all belts) and No Gi, is now open for registration for a $20 fee for each class. Players can enter more than one division as long as it is at a heavier weight than their weight class.

For No Gi participants, weight classes include flyweight (100 lbs-134 lbs); bantamweight (135 lbs-144 lbs); featherweight (145 lbs-160 lbs); lightweight (161 lbs175 lbs); middleweight (176 lbs-204 lbs); and heavyweight (205 lbs and up). For Gi participants, men and women, may register in the absolute white, blue, purple, and brown belts.

The Art of War 14 will be held on Dec. 14 at the Trench Tech Gym in Garapan with matches starting at 9:30am.

Spectators will be charged a $5 fee at the door and cash prizes will be up for grabs throughout the event.
