Aquathlon and Pathway 5K/10K Run this Saturday

Triathlon Association of the CNMI will have its initial offering for the 2016 this Saturday with the staging of the Aquathlon and Pathway 5K/10K Run.

The races will start and end at Kilili Beach with the event beginning at 6am. Registration is only $10 and can be done on race day or online via the group’s Facebook page ÑANGU.BISIKLETA.FALAGU SPN.

Runners doing the 5K race will go as far Beach Road across the the Hardt Eye Clinic in Quartermaster, while the 10K participants will turn around at Bank of Guam.

For the run part of the aquathlon, the turnaround point is across the Saipan Mayor’s Office. The swim leg in the waters off Kilili Beach will cover two distances—2.5K and 1K.

Medals and other prizes await the Top 3 men’s and women’s finishers in each age group. Participants can register in the U19 division, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, and over 50. (PR)
