Aon sponsors $25K hole-in-one prize for NMC Foundation Open
In its commitment to advance higher education in the CNMI, Aon Insurance Micronesia is sponsoring a $25,000 hole-in-one prize for the upcoming 10th Annual NMC Foundation Open golf tournament scheduled for this Saturday, June 30, 2012. The lucky golfer who makes a hole-in-one at the LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort’s Hole No. 13 at the West Course will win the $25,000 prize.
“Advancing and garnering support for higher education is something we are very much committed to,” said Aon regional director Rod Rankin. “We are excited to be a part of the NMC Foundation’s efforts to enhance opportunities for college students in the CNMI.”
The NMC Foundation is composed of community volunteers committed to the advancement of opportunities in support of higher education for people in the CNMI. The golf tournament is the NMC Foundation’s signature event that raises funds to support NMC’s academic programs and services.
“As in past tournaments, Aon’s contribution will definitely help make this Saturday’s event a successful one,” said NMC Foundation president Ivan Quichocho. “We are grateful for the company’s continued support of the college and the foundation.”
The golf tournament will be held at the LaoLao Bay Golf Resort (West Course) with a showtime of 6am and shotgun start at 7am and will follow a medal play format. There will be six separate flight categories: Championship, A, B, C, Seniors, and Ladies.
Registration forms for the golf tournament can be downloaded from www.nmcnet.edu, or picked up at the Marianas Country Club, Saipan Country Club, Dandan Golf Range, Kingfisher Golf Links, and All Star Sporting Goods.
The entrance fee is $95 per player. Payments for the entrance fee can be made at LaoLao Bay Golf Resort, Triple J Motors, and the NMC Cashier.
Tournament prizes for first place for each of the six flights include cash and roundtrip tickets to various destinations in the Pacific on United Airlines. Additional hole-in-one prizes include a 2012 Hyundai Elantra donated by Triple J Motors, a roundtrip ticket on United Airlines, and one year of free golf at the LaoLao Bay Golf Resort.
