AMP is selected for Teacher Ranger Teacher Program
The American Memorial Park has been selected to participate in this summer’s Teacher Ranger Teacher program, which provides teachers an opportunity to learn about National Park Service educational resources and themes while earning continuing education credits through a partnership between the NPS and the University of Colorado, Denver.
The selected teacher will spend 240 hours working with park staff developing an education program as well as completing three graduate credit hours of coursework in Experiential Learning online. The program will begin mid-June and teachers who complete the requirements will receive a $3,000 in the fall.
K-12th grade teachers are invited to apply. A portion of the work for this summer’s program will be completed remotely and the selected teacher must have access to a computer and internet. The deadline for applications is May 1, 2023.
