AMP hosts Junior Ranger Camp

Share

This summer, the American Memorial Park and its partner, Pacific Historic Parks, will host the first ever Junior Ranger Camp on Saipan. The three-day camp will provide Saipan youth an opportunity to explore the great outdoors while learning about the park, Saipan history, and other significant World War II sites on island.

The free Junior Ranger Camp will be held on June 20, 21, and 22, 2017, for youth between the ages of 9-12. All youth who complete the Junior Ranger Camp will become official junior rangers and will be awarded a junior ranger badge and certificate.

To register your child, stop by the American Memorial Park Visitor Center and complete a registration form. Space is limited so register soon! Applications will be accepted at the park and youth will be enrolled on a first-come, first-served basis.

For more information about this program, contact ranger Brooke Nevitt at 234-7207 or 2020 or email brooke_nevitt@nps.gov or Jovannalyn Moses at jmafnas@pacifichistoricparks.org. (NPS)
