American Memorial Park to end water distribution

Due to the stabilization of Saipan’s infrastructure, the American Memorial Park potable water distribution point will be discontinuing service. The water distribution point at American Memorial Park will stop operations at the Micro Beach Pavilion on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015.

The water distribution point will be open this Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, from 7am to noon. This water distribution point is for families only. Water will not be distributed to businesses or commercial facilities. The water being distributed is potable (drinking) water for human consumption.

Only food safe containers will be accepted at the water distribution point and 5-gallon water bottles with a cap are preferred. No water drums, buffalos, or other bulk containers will be accepted. Families are responsible for sanitizing containers prior to arrival at distribution point. Upon completion of filling water bottles, families and vehicles must leave the water distribution area immediately. (NPS)
